Terms of Service

LFGBot ("the bot") is operated by the LFGamers Discord community. By using the bot, or by being a member of a server it is in, you agree to these terms.

What the bot does

The bot provides moderation tooling for Discord servers: support tickets, moderation logging, reminders, tags, and self-assignable roles. It is offered free of charge and is not affiliated with Discord Inc.

Using the bot

You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and the rules of any server you use the bot in. Do not use the bot to harass anyone, to evade a moderation action, or to submit deliberately false reports through /modmail. Do not attempt to disrupt the bot, flood it with requests, or access data belonging to other users.

Server moderators decide how the bot is configured in their server, including who can read support ticket transcripts.

Moderation

Server moderators may use the bot to warn, mute, kick, or ban you according to their server's rules. Those decisions belong to the server's moderation team, not to the bot's operators. If you think a decision was wrong, open a ticket with /modmail and ask them to review it.

We may stop providing the bot to a server, or to a person, at any time.

Your data

What the bot stores, why, and for how long is described in the privacy policy. You can delete your activity tracking and stop future collection at /opt-out.

Availability

The bot is provided as is, with no warranty. We do not guarantee it will be available, that it will work correctly, or that data stored in it will not be lost. Do not rely on it as your only record of anything you care about keeping.

Changes

These terms may change. Continuing to use the bot after a change means you accept the updated terms.
